Nina, your post made me tear up reading it 😅😅 Thank you for the encouraging words haha. I appreciate everything you have to share with me 😊 Speaking of dancing, do you remember Anderson from NCT Universe: LASTART? He's from my city and teaches dance classes here 😅😅 It would be crazy to take a class of his haha.
So far this show has the softest approach to a survival show formula I've seen lol. Obviously things are going to heat up moving forward, but for the first episode it was all pretty safe until the final 10 mins or so.
And yes, I'll be reacting to Boys 2 Planet!! Can’t wait!! I'm hearing there will be lots of familiar faces on there 😅😅😅

I haven't seen your OEN reaction so this will be a fun new watch full of unknowns and it's nice to go into it blind (I also had no idea this show happened so thank you for introducing this!). I'm liking the fact there are only 11 contestants - it makes it easier to know each one! You should get back into dancing - not to be existential or emo but you should live in the moment and do what you want, we're all on a floating rock and slowly dying so might as well do the things you've been putting off now before your body ages too far to do it again (I mean this in an encouraging way!). Regarding the show, it's really nice to see some &Audition contestants again! The first half of the episode did drag on and I hate the way too smooth filters most survival shows put on everyone but I am enjoying seeing the differences between a korean and japanese survival show. Side note - are you gonna watch the Boys Planet II this July (I think that's when it's airing)?

Right? Perhaps surprising them like that was in and of itself part of the test...let's see the boys under pressure and evaluate how well they do in a situation they don't entirely have control of...?

I don’t know if it’s ever been confirmed, but I’m pretty sure you were right that the eight of them were told it was some sort of challenge show where they’d do things as a team to debut as eight since they’d been training as a group for years up until then. They definitely weren’t told that there would be more contestants on the show… from the start I always thought it’s really cruel to both add more people and tell them they don’t even have a chance to debut as 8 right off the bat.
I was also so shocked they didn’t give Gaku and Haku guaranteed spots! They set a sort of precedent with what they did for the I-land boys in &audition and then didn’t follow through here which is strange.
