Violapse Page: Sorry to Ask (TW: DV)

One of the things I really want to convey with Violapse, which might be a little awkward for readers but is kind of important I think, is showing how weirdly casual abusive relationships can be at times.
With my own abuser, it was not uncommon to be like 'Hey I have to be somewhere so you can't beat me today OK?' and for him to be like 'yeah that should probably be fine'
Like..... it's SO fucked up but at the time it was like, that was normal I guess. Like, it was still wild but it was like, oh, this is how I survive.
Anyway, not to get too dark that's just something that's important to me, because Violapse is a pretty melodramatic story but I really want it to also have that really bizarre realness to it because I haven't really seen that aspect of it played out in any other media.

Goodness me ;-; I think it's super important to this whole side of things to be portrayed because I really was unaware of that aspect of physical abuse that goes on in some relationships :c
