Daisy Sketches

aaaaa I'm so sorry I haven't been posting much. Thank you so so much for still being here ;___; I have So Many Ideas for new comics and I'm absolutely itching to be able to draw them out!!!
Lately, before bed, I've been spending an hour or so in the evenings sketching on my iPad. I'm a little self conscious about my sketches because they're Very Rough and not pretty like it seems most other artists' sketches are haha ;;;; but I think I'm getting better at drawing faster (mostly because I don't have a lot of time to draw!) and more comfortable with the messiness and like, achieving a level of messiness that is still readable if that makes sense....
I've been thinking a lot about my angsty girls comic (which STILL doesn't have a name haha;;;;) and I really want to be able to do a rewrite of it soon.... I think last time, I got too hung up on plot where I really just want these characters to be able to like... just vibe if that makes sense hahaha
What I really want is to just tell a story about these two characters who depend on each other, but it's messy and complicated and they end up going their separate ways... and then eventually how they resolve that and make peace...... friendship breakup is a theme that's pretty important to me and I think I need to focus on that rather than like, bombastic plot and fighting if that makes sense.
With this in mind, Daisy is now a farmer and a scientist haha :> I still need to figure out the setting but it's been really fun to draw her like that. This was a sudden idea inspired by my recent visit back home where I got to feed lambs in the evenings. It was a short trip but it was really good for my mental health and I feel like I needed it.
I also thought it would be cool if her weapon wasn't a scythe (at first) but if she had a pair of sickles because that's more druidy / like something that she would have and use that's primary purpose isn't necessarily violent. Also.... I thought it'd be a cute idea if they were connected by a chain because then it'd be like ....Daisy chain..... (I think that's a cute idea LOL I don't care if it's lame xD)
But yeah anyway, I've been sketching these characters a lot lately and after SENSORY is all shipped out, I'm going to give the script another go. I really love Daisy and Lamb and I really want to be able to tell their story

These sketches really do look absolutely wonderful, I'm totally able to get a complete sense of everything that's going on, and I think the style is really appealing :> The story itself definitely sounds interesting and right up my street, I really do hope you get the opportunity to make it the way that you envision I love Daisy's design so much. Everything from the colour scheme to the outfit, and the pair of sickles is a really rad idea (and makes more sense as a weapon probably, scythes are primarily gardening equipment, but I don't think they'd make for as effective a weapon as a pair of cycles(plus, with cycles like that, there's a lot of ways you can make them flashy and cool :o))
