Excitement
Added 2020-07-20 12:01:09 +0000 UTCI first noticed this about myself when I was 18 and my friends and I were planning on going on holiday together to Amsterdam for a couple of days. The whole semester they were BUZZING about it and I was like ???? I feel nothing?? Except fear...???? Aaaa??? and I've kind of been that way ever since OOF.
There was a lot I wanted to say about this that didn't make it into the comic (the downsides of doing short strips haha) but I often worry about the future like... am I going to be excited for things in the future? Like... my wedding day or the birth of my children or if I ever get a book deal or????
Idk I think anxiety and excitement are two sides of the same coin but boy howdy I wish my coin would flip sometimes
