Progress Update August 19, 2019

I was out of town for a while, and while I was I kind of decided to change my method of doing these update posts, instead of every two weeks no matter what I want to be making these posts when I've made genuine palpable and describable strides in the video's production, that way I'm not wasting anyone's time by saying "yep got a fair amount of work done, back to it then."
So, the script isn't 100% ready yet, but I've got my throughline for the whole thing and several sections are at a "completed rough draft" phase, all that's left is to fill in the gaps (bit trickier than it sounds since a lot of the "gaps" are points where I have a lot I want to say that needs to be compressed down to a reasonable length) and then go through a few editing passes. The more I work on this video the more sure I am that this is my strongest script to date in just about every way, there's so much going on in it and the way it flows from joke to point and back again really makes me happy with how much I've improved as a writer.
The Asset is about 99% completed, just waiting on a bit for the beginning and a wayward piece to be finished, so I'm really looking forward to that.
