Sonic Adventure 2 Review Part 2/Detective Brooklyn
For SA2 Review, I'm still writing it out, and for Detective Brooklyn I editing all the usable footage into one file. Once those two things are done, I'm going to hand them off to two separate editors and go ALL IN on Supermental!!! I finally have a sure fire way to make it, and now that its possible, I've sort of lost interest in everything else.
Making Supermental was always a crisis that went something like this: It requires an impossible amount of money to make look good, an impossible amount of time, funding was always tenuous, and cutting corners on this project destroys the entire purpose of making it. People who have been following me are likely all too familiar with the million different ways I was thinking about pulling it off. Last update I was so unsure I had figured it was time to throw in the towel, but of course its always at those dips where you end up figuring it out. Supermental is going to be told...through moments!
Similar to how you might search up a favorite moment from a show or game to watch, Supermental will be told entirely through small clips that over time add context to each other. I'm super stoked about this, because for one thing I can make these clips look GOOD. It will still cost a lot of money, but it's the kind of money I've at least had my hands on at some point in my life, and the format for telling this kind of story is EXTREMELY interesting to me. It's like so obviously a gimmick, but also isn't at all.
Anyway the point is, I'm going to be putting a very single minded focus on working on Supermental after I get those other two videos handed off to editors. You know em, Paul and Grant. Allstate Voice: We're in Good Hands
Also for those unaware, we are doing two Pizza Games Tournaments in April, and to make up for that I'm going to stream them both. I'm actually leaving today, and that's why this big update is going out now.
Also my mouse broke does anyone have any recommendations for cheap mice??
