2024-10-08 13:30:50 +0000 UTCOk, so this show.... I have to admit after watching the ACE battle and the surprise they added about 7th place I really considered if I should continue watching. How evil was that? Do they want to push idols into dispair and mental health issues? What did that add to the show? But the poor guy from Cravity - he will carry this around with him for years to come especially if they end up being eliminated. Then the problem with MNETs evil editing. This time its the Younite leader that is painted the villain by MNET. Poor him, first they go in as the underdogs and now he already being singled out as some evil character. On the performances The New Six - Junhyeok made me cry, also the team performance was so emotional. I guess you feel it so much more if you know the team and what happend since their debut. Tempest - I really loved their performances. Hanbin really is something else, its great to see a Vietnamese idol shine. Also they have been through a lot with the departure of Hwarang. 8TURN really bring the fun. I loved their debut but have not been keeping up with them so I am excited to see what they will bring. The team performance was so good!! Younite - I have a soft spot for rappers and Dey convinced me here doing this rap as ace. Not so keen on the team performance tbh, when the guns came out they lost me (I just dont like weapons on a stage) CrewOne - i did miss vocals in this performance. Its quite easy to impress if you have that many people dancing in black but tbh, for me it was missing something. Bain should have shown off his crazy vocal but I couldnt even make him out in the sea of black Oneus - just total professionals, you can tell their experience on stage and with stage design. I loved the arrangement of the song but the joker theme was not really my kind of thing Cravity - I hope they can get over this unessessary drama and shine. They are so talented and fun. I have so many Cravity songs on my playlist and would love to get to know them better

2024-09-22 07:01:06 +0000 UTCI also think a lot about Junhyeok. He's one of my most favorite idols ever and is so freaking talented. When he was on his hiatus I was very worried too. Anxiety is challenging, and I could only imagine how sick it made him becoming an idol and dealing with that pressure and how worse it would have made it. He did come back changed, and you are so right about him having more grit. He seems way more intentional about what he does and cautious, which I'm sure comes from therapy and discussing his motivations. He came back after over half a year of being gone, and he chose to. He's probably the most motivated he's ever been in his life. Which makes me even more worried, because I think he blames himself for TNX 'flopping' (which isn't his fault at all, Psy practically does zero promotions for them and waits too long between comebacks). I just hope they do good, genuinely. Even top 3 is good enough, like please let them be more well known.

2024-09-22 06:45:07 +0000 UTCIt feels so insane watching this with you because I remember commenting on your Youtube before you made a Patreon to watch LOUD and pitching the hell out of it alskdfajds. I also remember watching Loud when it was airing and I've been a fan of TNX since pre-debut. Now here we are, in the fall of 2024, rooting for TNX and praying they get more popular. I really do hope they get a popularity boost, and I hope Hwi has a chance to produce something for a future mission on this show.

They made the show have their own identity to just show off groups that have disappeared into the shadows. The winner gets a pretty big budget in the end. Leaders of the groups are: 8TURN: Jaeyun CRAVITY: Serim ONEUS: Hwanwoong (after RAVN left they didn’t choose another leader, but he is a stand-in) TEMPEST: LEW The CrewOne: Geonu TNX: Taehun YOUNITE: Eunsang (He is co-leader with Eunho) So people that knew each other before the show started are: Shows I-LAND: 8TURN Kyungmin + TEMPEST Hanbin + TCO Geonu and Siwoo (JM/Jimin) (on hiatus) LOUD: TNX members + Younite Kyungmun (he is the one holding the trophy at the end of the group performance, he was one of the JYP trainees) Produce 101 S2: ONEUS Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Seoho + TEMPEST Hyungseop and LEW Produce X 101: Cravity Hyeongjun, Minhee, Wonjin and Jungmo + Younite’s Eunsang MIXNINE: 8TURN Jaeyun + ONEUS Seoho Groups X1: Younite’s Eunsang + Cravity’s Hyeongjun and Minhee (It also says that Cravity’s Allen was a contestant on Stray Kids, but he didn’t appear on the show) Some people unfortunately couldn’t join because they either left the group or are on hiatus Siwoo of TCO is on hiatus while ONEUS RAVN, TEMPEST Hwarang had to leave their groups because of “issues” and Younite Hyunseung decided to end his contract. Their initial rankings were decided by the other teams, they also mentioned it in the episode You seem to think ATBO and JUST B are still independent groups for this show, they are actually one big group now. I’m not sure how it will be after this show but ATBO and JUST B might become sub-units because ATBO is Cre.ker (The Boyz company) and JUST B is under Bluedot, which is a sub-label of Kakao. All of these companies are now IST Entertainment (for extra context, see before iKon DK enters the dance unit’s studio on Kingdom, all the labels on different floors in that building he calls out, they are now IST). Because ATBO lost Rakwon they actually have 2 boy groups with 6 members who do similar stuff, so that doesn’t work. What did work were The Boyz, and they might be making them their younger brother group. (I also like the name The Crew One better than ATBO and JUST B) I honestly think Cravity wouldn’t have placed much higher this round if they participated, It didn’t have that much impact on me after seeing it. What I also picked up from this episode is that Eunsang is mentally crazy, lol

They all did well. I have to agree with the 6th place in team for the crew one. They relied on their dance only, which was disappointing. And the other teams saw that. The on line audience may feel differently. Now we see who has the largest fan base for the voting, sad to say.

Like singing, and I sort of felt the same way too. I’m pretty sure some of them will do different aces for different challenges, and I can’t remember your last question. I personally thought 8turn did the overall best, Tempest and Oneus were in my top 3 team performances (but Oneus is cheating… who got the joker is an amazing song to begin with ). But my favorite ace performance was from The new Six.

2024-09-20 14:16:33 +0000 UTCI am excited to watch this with you! I don't really know any of the groups in this, so I am completely unbiased. There are so many people from I-Land, which is so cool. Hanbin in Tempest, Kyungmin in 8Turn, and Geonu of CrewOne (JustB) and Siwoo or JM of CrewOne (JustB). I also know that Lm Jimin is super close friends with Beomgyu of TXT, Heeseung of Enhypen and I.N. of Stray Kids. They call themselves the 01 line and have a group chat and hang out together and support each other. I can't wait for next week to see them perform TXT and Enhypen (Enhypen being my ult group)! I thought Tempest did the best in the group performance, even with the one member dislocating his shoulder.
