At one point I drew out some 'Epic' versions of the characters but I don't remember what happened to them. I'm gonna have to dig though some sketchbooks.

2020-08-14 16:25:20 +0000 UTCYou know, this is a little obscure, but this exact thing comes up when you're playing with Paizo's pregen characters. Their leveled-up versions come with snazzier armor to keep up with stronger monsters, but their art is the same. It's even crazier in Starfinder where they come with factory standard combat armor but half of them look like they're wearing combat ready street clothes.
