2020-01-25 00:30:21 +0000 UTCThings like dirt, viscera, bad smells and so on tend to get glossed over in fantasy stories, so it's definitely fun to be like, "yeah, you're not seeing the Queen until you wash the dragon dung from that dungeon three weeks ago out of your hair." It adds to the verisimilitude of the setting, and, bonus: bath scene!
