With the sudden, mysterious disappearance of Femme Fighter, it looks like Magus finally gets to choose the next dungeon. Poor catgirl was waiting forever! Every time it came up in conversation, there was always some excuse.

“We should repair our armor first.”

“The Temple of Elemental Libidio has better loot.”

“I need a long rest.”

Frankly, I don’t understand why Team Bounty Hunter’s blonde bombshell made so many excuses for avoiding Consentacle Dungeon. You’d almost think that Femme Fighter had some sort of hangup about giving herself over to womanly passion. I mean, she certainly seemed to enjoy her tentacles last time.

But you know what? Good on Magus for respecting her teammate’s wishes. When it comes time to pick the flavor of your game, it’s just good policy to try and build consensus. Do we want high fantasy or steampunk? Should we run GURPS or 5e? Do we want our primary antagonist to be goblins or a writhing mass friendly lubricated tendrils? I’m sure we’ve all had those conversations.

The point is that you want everyone to be on board for the style of campaign you want to run, especially if it’s one of the more polarizing elements. Whether it’s running an evil game, incorporating PVP, or building in elements of ERP, you don’t want to ram anything down your party members’ throats. (Unless of course they’re into that.)
