Handbook of Erotic Fantasy: Hot Springs of the Gratuitous Nymph - The Hero We Need

If the PCs successfully “defeat” the love spring elemental, read or paraphrase the following: 

With a cry of exquisite anguish, the elemental bursts into a roiling cloud of pink steam. The mist rises higher and higher, hanging for a moment like a great fogbank poised above the hot springs. Then, with a rush of lilac-scented wind, the cloud descends. It’s as if you’re standing in the eye of a rose-tinted hurricane. Though the air around you is clear, a violent gush of raw elemental mist flows outward to the far ends of the spa, covering the entirety of the Three Gate Springs resort.

As the mist begins to dissipate it seems to speak to you in a sleepy, satisfied voice: “That was amazing! Thank you so much. Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I’m going to need a century or two to recover.” 

As the world seems to fade back into being, you begin to hear a new sound coming from all around you. Many sounds in fact. The voices of the spa’s patrons have risen into a single, sensual chorus. Dozens of fresh-minted lovers are moaning, grunting in effort, and squealing in pleasure all around you. Perhaps it would be a good idea to claim your reward and make your exit before this final enchantment wears off. 

Concluding the Adventure

Once the love spring elemental finds love and release, it goes into a century-long refractory period. Three Gate Springs won’t have any more complaints about burns or wandering love charms, but it does gain a reputation as the kingdom’s finest hookup spot. Rumor has it that spontaneous orgies break out there all the time! Needless to say, the twin proprietors of the spa (nereid sisters Marilia and Melinai) are overjoyed by the resulting surge of new business. 

As promised, the PCs are rewarded with lifetime passes to the spa, each worth 1d10 x 100 gp. Alternatively, treating an ally to a relaxing spa weekend can work wonders when you need a favor. While treating an NPC to a spa getaway, any Persuasion checks made to request aid should receive a hefty circumstance bonus. 

Given the spike in planar energies due to the love spring elemental’s defeat, it should come as no surprise that the PCs have attracted the attention of certain outsiders.
