Alchemist, Cavalier & Gunslinger
Added 2017-06-24 03:37:36 +0000 UTCThese are some of the initial concepts for the secondary tier of characters, and it includes my very favorite: Alchemist. I love the idea of a dwarf with dreadlocks, and I've been pestering Colin to feature him in a comic sometime soon.
Cavalier also has yet to appear, but Gunslinger was actually a point of contention between us for a while. When we wrote the comic where he first appeared, Colin was imagining a Clint Eastwood type of character. I'd already sketched this, and when I got to the point in the script where it said 'Gunslinger is in the foreground' I faithfully reproduced my original design. The comic turned out a little odd, since a halfling is basically the opposite of grim and grizzled, but I maintain that Colin got to see all the character designs months before the script was written, and therefore it is his fault.
