2022-10-31 11:35:30 +0000 UTCWhy would Aden need a Aquarius mermaid spirit when he will already have sirens living in the water dimension, Plus I agree with William Haselden, And also Tui and La are not just be spirits of water but also spirits of The Ocean and The Moon, Push and Pull, Life and Death, Good and Evil, Yin and Yang Koh the face stealer said this, so I think that they would make some pretty powerful spirits not to mention if you kill one of them the moon or Ocean will disappear

But after witnessing the struggles among the people at the North and South Poles, they both decided to take it upon themselves to travel to the physical world, taking on the job as the Moon and Ocean Spirits. This travel also turned their physical form into two koi fish, which circle each other for all time since arrival. Due to their effects, they became the teachers of the first waterbenders, whether intentional or not, and have ever since resided at the North Pole oasis, being there when they first arrived.

Both spirits also show the symbol for Yin and Yang, the balance between good and evil, and push and pull
