Guess who's finally posting something presentable from a new art program?
I jumped on the big Clip Studio sale back on Black Friday and I've been tinkering with stuff behind the scenes between helping friends and the usual drawing schedule (all those doodles aren't really worth posting, mostly test stuff to get to grips with a new thing). Now that I was doing a few request for friends, I tried something more serious with the return of TopSecretName's Alchemia!
I'm very pleased with how CSP works on a surface level. I need to keep tinkering and get used to where everything is, but it's super-smooth, way more customizable details in all sorts of aspects and the default brushes are pretty great! I missed a decent pencil brush, a bunch of my earlier digital stuff was done with pencil brushes I found and customized further, so it takes me back to when my doodles looked like a digital sketchbook.
So here's to the return of my sketches looking more like real sketches and hopefully I get more efficient and improve faster with newer software!
