KHIII Video Update
Added 2019-03-21 15:00:02 +0000 UTCIt's been a while! Took longer than I expected to edit the script after 3~ weeks of editing around for ease of footage and talking points. While it's around 1/7th finished, that gives me roughly an hour-a-day to work on splicing up the audio to the gameplay, so I'm roughly still on track for a near-March 28th release date for the series' 17th anniversary!
While I'm optimistic because I don't have nearly as much music to sync up this time around since the soundtrack for KHIII isn't out yet. It won't likely exist until all the DLC content is finished with the game, so they can add any new tracks with any new content, areas and cutscenes, so I only have a limited scope of some world and battle themes. It won't be my usual standard of obsessing over putting nearly every track from each game's soundtrack in these, but I'm not gonna beat myself up over not having access to the great cutscene-exclusive tracks.
That's for the "Final Mix" of this video sometime in 2020, which likely won't be on any set schedule and will release whenever I replay the game again and work on the "final" version of this video then! Fun stuff, but I still wanted to get a "snapshot" of the honeymoon period two months after the game released as a neat time capsule of how I thought after thinking on the release during the launch window.
So unless something comes up, expect this video up sometime next weekend! Working hard on it to get so many drawing ideas ready to go afterwards and do what everyone expects of me!
