KHIII Update
Added 2019-03-13 03:18:41 +0000 UTCA quick update for the relative silence; this thing is guaranteed to be even longer than my KHIIFM video! It’s clocking in around 5 hours right now close to maybe 2/3s of the way in, maybe 3/4s?
I’m guessing it’ll eventually land in the 6-7 hour mark, since while the latter worlds are easier to cover since they’re mostly boss fights and story beats, it’s the story during the final act that’s really expanded this video’s runtime. I don’t think I’m padding anything as I keep editing what it is I want to say and mention, but it’s all the links to previous games and the sheer amount of connections it has to its past and future.
I wanna get this out for the series’ 17th anniversary on March 28, but that all depends on how much audio editing this monster is gonna have. I actually think the visual editing is gonna be easier this time compared to KHIIFM given how I structured the footage and placement in the script to avoid that scattershot approach, and the fact the music is gonna be “easier” without an official soundtrack this time around to pull from.
No, it’s gonna be the audio editing on my part. The sheer nightmare of 7-9 hours of audio I’m gonna be recording if my usual ratio of flubbing lines is any indication. Don’t be surprised if this slips into early April depending on how good my takes are, but I’ll do my best! Drawings will continue popping up whenever I take a break. Got a few collabs and gifts in the works between this crazy video set to appear in April once this is off my Bucket List.
