I think the guests have all worked really well and adds a new dynamic each week. I didn’t know Kip before the show but I think it’s been my favourite one. I think if you need to do the show on your own with the crew that will be cool, I think there is something nice about having that familiarity too. That’s what was nice with you and bob. Basically if you keep the energy going for this no matter what you do it will be cool! Keep it up man, I am so glad you have continued to keep this up at this standard! Hard work always pays! By the way I never normally comment online on anything so this is from the heart!

2024-03-15 02:55:04 +0000 UTCI’m the guy that commented previously about having to catch up the new guest on what was said last week 😂 I didn’t mean that in an “I’m annoyed way” or with any negativity - my apologies if it came off that way. I do like having the different guests - I was just saying that with retreading previous conversations - it seems to interrupt the flow of the conversation at hand a little bit. I don’t think that can really be avoided though, given the guest setup currently. I am looking forward to “lesser known” guests though. I find that learning about other creators from creators I already follow is a great discovery mechanism. I had some preconceived notions about guests on this podcast (as well as others I listen to) and initially wasn’t a fan. But after seeing them in a different way - I was able to appreciate them more and have even ended up following their content as well. Prior to the Nontendo Podcast I wasn’t following Kit and Krysta, Scott the Woz, or even you Wood! I initially learned about you through Bob when you guys were starting up the podcast. Since then you’ve shot so far up to be one of my favorite content creators to watch/follow though! I really appreciate all you do and will be around for the whole Nontendo ride! 😊

I don’t follow wrestling but loved the chemistry between you and that other guy. Can’t remember his name. But last week with the Pokemon guy I was just over Pokemon. And that is a me issue. With all the news not just here but everywhere I was over it so I stoped watching half way through. No offense to your guest just sick of hearing about the Pokemon and it’s a fact they don’t make good games but they get so much coverage. I know it’s a slow time for gaming right now but it wasn’t worth watching. I have followed you since you picked up your switch. Not going to stop. Just a few thoughts I had. I like the random guest I don’t know. Still try to be you. I know you have to cater to your audience but don’t go to far. Seriously though if you can book Arlo live that would be amazing. I mean he would have to have a desk so it would be like the tonight show and interviewing you. Just a thought.

2024-03-10 16:48:14 +0000 UTCI think as long as you are doing what you find fun and exciting, it will work out. If that means guests, do guests. If that means some solo episodes, go for it. Follow your fun creative brain, because it got you this far. 😄 When people do things just for the algorithm it does show and people pick up on that. Hopefully the guest episodes with more views was an influx of new people to the podcast and some of them will end up sticking around for more, but unfortunately there will always be some people who just stop by for big names or big news and that's it. 🤷 You're doing great, and the BTS was super fun!

I think regardless of who the cohost is, you've been doing a great job of still covering the topics you would normally cover in an engaging way, even if there is a little overlap it's not to the detriment of the episode, its more like a recap that would have started tv shows back in the day lol I would definitely try not to overthink the viewership based on who your guest is, that's going to happen no matter what you do, could even happen on solo episodes and may be due to less news that week or tech issues etc that are out of your control anyway. I think there's a pretty solid viewership here and a lot of us are going to be watching every week regardless. I'm looking forward to more of whatever you guys choose to create :)

I'm very similar to you Wood, in the reevaluating (second guessing) what I'm doing and is it working. I believe this looks to be working so far. they each have seemed to be good shows, and the guests seem to have a good time. And besides that, you say friendships have been made or strengthened. I really call that a plus all around. Keep rocking with it, enjoy yourself, enjoy the advanced learning curve. love it all.

Interested to see where you take the show after ep 100. With the guest format there are some eps I've enjoyed much more than others, but always look forward to tuning in weekly. Appreciate everything you do, Wood & Nontendo team!
