I hope you don't study history based on the series made in the US by the people highly motivated against the Soviet Union, and who tried to make us believe that Boris Sherbina, with higher !technical! education, did not know how nuclear reactor works. And that deputy head of Kurchatov institute (nuclear science center of soviet union) lived in such flat :). Or that 'them only sees them as peasant labour' - here you speak about the country introducing mass free education and mass free medicine for the country's population. Besides a lot of incorrect and anti-sov propaganda content - this is a pretty nice series with good actors and a lot of stuff looking like Russian 80-90.

Great way to start new year!
Maybe some mankind will learn you cannot beat mother nature.
I have sympathy for people of Soviet Union and Russia they live in system that does not seem to care about them only sees them as peasant labor and when needed cannon fodder. Would not allow any discussion about of any kind that threatened absolute authority of state.
I agree you can no longer debate with idea of changing someone's mind, but you can try to understand their point of view.
