I have seen it at least 10 times and you both pointed out some interesting things that I hadn't considered before, so it was like watching it again with new eyes. In my mind the movie has the best of everything ...best acting, best dance scene, best speech, best character arcs. All round a major emotional rollercoaster. Pacino is definitely a master at conveying buried emotions with just his subtle expressions. The fact that he had to pretend he was blind at the same time makes it more impressive!
