Ooh, for some reason I thought Red Moon Pact was a prequel to Love In Pavilion, but technically if Yuechu is grown and it's his story then its happened after๐ค Definitely looking forward to next one. Wonder if I should watch Red Moon.

I can understand why there are still some confusing parts even after finishing it. In general, the original Fox Spirit Matchmaker series consists of three parts: Love in Pavilion; Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact (starring Gong Jun as Yuechu- the son of Qinlan; this part has already aired); and Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Sword and Beloved (starring Cheng Yi as Fu Gui - the son of Hongye and Huaizhu). The last two can be seen as the next generation following the story of this series. According to the ending, the Black Fox hasnโt been defeated yet, and it will be Fu Gui who destroys it in the next part. As for Renfeng, heโs not dead either - the one who defeats him will be Yuechu in Red Moon. So in this part, some charactersโ stories havenโt fully concluded yet. Besides, according to the original story, Love in Pavilion is just a 'side story' of the series, so their storyline is truly heartbreaking. The ending was especially tragic for Hongye and Huaizhu ๐ญ. But still, to me, this is a really great drama. If you want to understand the series more clearly, be sure to look forward to the upcoming Sword and Beloved ๐
