If I'm correct Dmbj is quite famous in china, there is 8 volumes ( available in English) 7 sequels, there is also prequels, extras and others. There is also an anime adaptation and manhua as well. The ship between the two male main characters is famous in China. Also the casting changes at every adaptation, so don't be attached to the actors but to the characters instead. If you are interested to watching it from the beginning.

2024-10-28 13:13:47 +0000 UTCI actually found this ending lowkey depressing for Juishi. He couldn't come to terms with how things ended with everyone and seemingly came back from a long coma. If this is true, his mind simply became consumed with fabricated truths. Everyone moved on, Wu Qi had a grandson(!) Yet he spent the rest of his life trying to get that false sense of reality back. Of course I'm happy to see all them back together at the very end, but the game really consumed Juishi entirely when you think outside of the emotional ties he had to everyone. I've never felt this strange about the ending of a drama before. This entire show has been a rollercoaster, that's for sure!

It's like a modern high school version of The Blood of Youth + The Untamed ๐๐ If you're interested you can try at least EP1-4, and after these four episodes, each episode gets more exciting and intriguing.
