Patreon billing errors, declines, fraud, etc

It appears some fucky shit is happening at Patreon and subs are getting flagged as fraud charges, potentially due to the company changing billing address from San Francisco to Dublin. This is happening not only to me, but to many other creators. I've lost a few 100 worth of patrons this month, others have lost more, some less, etc.

I was alerted to this issue via this post on twitter, and this post on reddit. Some people are unable to resub for the time being, some get it to work by changing to paypal, even some forms of creator payout are on hold.

I'm writing this message just incase it gets to a lot of the declined patrons I've had, but I may also write a mass-message to those patrons so people know what's going on.

Sorry for the late at night notification! I just learned of this and wanted to alert to others what is going on. I hope they fix this issue soon as many people can't even re-sub and cannot see content. :(
