Welcome to the second weekly update~
WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO?
My partner and I have finished leg one of our journey; we are now sitting pretty at my parents' house in the Bay Area. We'll be spending the next month staying with/house sitting for them, while we try to find housing in Massachusetts! House-hunting while so far away from the intended location is pretty stressful, but I'm trying to stay positive!
All the reptiles (and snails) have coped with the move well so far; they've settled back into their tanks just fine and with one exception, have resumed eating regularly. It's also nice to be around my parents' cats and dog again!

WHAT HAVE I BEEN WORKING ON?
I haven't been working on anything particularly special this week. Regular diary comic updates have resumed, though!
I also got the opportunity to visit a local nature center and sketch some of the animals there! It's very hard to get complete sketches of live animals, as they move around a lot, but it was fun and very good exercise!

WHAT HAVE I BEEN ENJOYING?
An unordered and incomplete list of things I’ve particularly enjoyed the past week:
- Lounging in the hammock. My parents have a very nice hammock in their yard, and I've been enjoying spending time in it doodling or listening to...
- The Raven Cycle. I've already listened to the Raven Cycle audiobooks once, but I'm re-listening with my partner! Love me a good urban fantasy series, and gay characters are a real bonus.
- Levels. I mentioned last week that I really liked the Max2019 ARG; my fascination with ARGs has only grown! Levels is sort of an intro course to different puzzle solving methods that are commonly seen in different ARGs. Quite fun, and educational!
That's all for now! Hope you all have a good week!!💖💞
Love,
Dave
