And my second part of Smaugust where I'm trying to make dragon concepts out of the cast of Blue Exorcist! I tried to do Rin for this one, but a slightly different take on what I first would have thought of when trying to see both "dragon" and "Rin" as one, and I hope you can see what kind of take I'm trying to go for here. A friendly fluffy half-dragon half-demon locked away by the Powers That Be, not even complete enough to fly, who is simply yearning for some company.
I incorporated elements from both dark-haired Rin and white-haired Rin, as well as the seal he had on his tail for most of the manga, into this design, and tbh I'm rather happy with the result! He looks friendly, but unique, which is what I wanted.
Hope you like this! Unfortunately I won't have time to make more Smaugust drawings, but hopefully next year I can try to continue this trend of making dragons out of these characters? Let's hope so!
