The deer king TW/ rape Plot (with spoilers) At the start of the movie, he was a slave with an admirable beard. He protected a fellow slave from the guards and they threw him in a cell as punishment and tortured him. This is a non-canon; he was raped by the guards as well and used as a lust relief for them.
