DON'T UPDATE YOUR GAME!

Hi guys, just a quick important announcement regarding mods and tomorrow's update.

Please read if you want to continue using mods.

On March 3rd EA will update FIFA with their new Copa Libertadores DLC. Now, this may seem exciting, but mod wise, it's not. The update will most likely break frosty, and until/if it gets updated, we won't be able to update our mods (Frosty normally takes around a week to be updated after a FIFA update that breaks it), and then, on top of that, a lot of mod content will have to be updated, like db, language strings, compdata, squad file, etc. For kit, faces, scoreboard, boots, balls, and mods like that, they will be easy to update, so hopefully their respectful content-creator can do so easily and quick, but, for more complex mods, such as my realism mod, Paul's career mod, EEP, FIP, FAES, etc, they will most likley require much more time to update, and, of course, I don't speak on behalf of them, but I suspect it will take around a week for me to update my mod, and I'd suspect a similar (if not longer for some heavy DB and compdata mods like EEP and FIP) time period for other mods.. If you want to keep playing FIFA in that week, you need to turn auto-updates for games. To do that, launch Origin, go to the menu bar at the top, Origin, then Application Settings. Then scroll down and under "Client Update" turn "Automatic Game Updates" off. I've made a video discussing this, where I also show how to prevent Automatic game updates in a video format.
