3/25/18 and Your Decision

Welp, it was pretty unanimous. Only 17 percent of those who voted did so in favor of the first option, so from now on I'll be putting more focus uniqueness rather than variety or randomness. I was kind of relieved, because I had already spent most of the day deciding how I would handle my new arrangement, and the stress from adding Elder Scrolls level customization was taking it's toll. With the pace things are going at now, I might get a playable demo out in a week's time of the new spanking interface. Naturally, a lot of stuff won't be present (face animations, item usage, other stuff), but it will give you all a good preview of what to expect.

The video I have linked shows my first prototype of a dialogue feature in the interface. The dialogue is for when the player has the "Mature" attitude active. There is also a Dominant, Childish, and Submissive attitude already done for the events you saw. Each attitude will give a different response to the NPC's lines whenever one is triggered. A trigger for a line to be said ranges from many things. Something as simple as baring them by a layer to giving a certain number of spanks at a certain strength. In the video, I demonstrated 4 triggers, baring the top layer, baring the underwear layer, unbaring the underwear layer, and unbaring the top layer. Each trigger has 20 lines written for it, 4 from the NPC depending on their mood (which can be considered how much they've been spanked), and 4 lines for each mood from each of the player's corresponding attitudes. The time to make one trigger isn't very time consuming, maybe 10-15 minutes, but it still gives a lot of variety. If you wanted to see all of the possible lines, you would have to play each spanking at least 16 times, and each time had to be in a different way as well. 

Originally I had the text box appear over the lower bar of the screen, but it conflicted with the positioning of the buttons, and was a mess to deal with. So instead I just made the screen larger, and gave space for it beneath everything else. I was worried that the resolution was starting to be a problem, since I have a medium/largish screen, and didn't know how other people would handle it. So after messing with the settings, I found an option to have the game run in a size scaled to the window it's in. Pretty sick!
