(LEGACY) Cyberpunk 2077 Photorealistic ReShade - Beta Release

Preset used in videos before 2024/02/01

NOTE: This is a legacy mod. As of 2024/12/01 it is outmatched by DreamPunk and is no longer being updated. Use DreamPunk instead for photorealistic optimal visuals. Do not use them together.

2024-01-14: A couple of corrections to the installation guide and some more mods added to help you get right in.

ive tryed all these mods and still nothing like the pics and for the money glad i can let other people know.or maybe u should make a video on the install to show these mods make the game look like this.

john brooks

Excuse me, "unsupported", what does that mean? The mod is outdated. Is it worthy to try it, or I should not use that one?

Tecnolyza

Hello, when I use the SDR version, I have constant flickering and the aspect ratio is set to very widescreen. Can anyone think of what I’m doing wrong?

Kyle Pollard

same here

Rheasie

voce ultiliza o nova lute junto com o dreampunk nos seus videos?

Leonardo Fernandes de Oliveira

im new never subbed to anyone just u can u help me install i need like screenshare help if possible im trying to get that photo realistic

Elijah

Hey man. I ran into the same issue as you did with the entire screen blurred out. What I did was right-click on the "Cinematic DOF" option and Edit Source code (or something like that). I didn't do anything to the file. Simply Saved then closed it back up and it worked right away.

JT

in this file #VehicleLights.archive we need to delete # ? in filename ?

Grzegorz Ciekot

whats your gamma setting now?

Sage

Do you game in HDR? Would like a reshade in HDR

Mark

I’ll release it later today!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

Whoa, can't wait for your HDR version man. The graphic would be out of this world. Looking forward to your updates with the newly released GITS and Nova though! I'll try my best to adjust it for my HDR screen for now.

Hang Tadaa

Sir please try the Heavy Clouds weather at 11 am. This is the one I used. Overcast is what it’s called irl so it helps Youtubes algorithm to name it that way! Please feel free to contact me by message and I will assist you further

Elias

currently installing the latest GITS 3.0, and messing with different NOVA versions just to see how they look, since Nova pure just got a 2.2 update

Threxi0n

thanks! and yeah visual fidelity aside, I just felt like the modded cars are a little immersion-breaking imo

Threxi0n

My game doesn't look like this followed all steps.....In ur new video u mentioned Overcast weather in 0:40......but Weathermancer dont have Overcast Weather

I'm looking into this right now, it would require a UI filter! Thank you for the support, I'll keep you updated

Hey there! I have a question (I did everthing like you wrote in your guide incl. screenshots): CinematicDOF kinda keeps flickering my HUD and subtitles. I am playing on 3440x1440. Is there a way to fix that? I am using ReShade 6.0.0. Settings are maxed out with DLSS on Quality. Thank you in advance and keep up the tremendous work!

TwiggX

I realized I had actually typed this wrong in the guide, thanks for notifying me.

NextGen Dreams (Private)

I will look into it man. It’s not made with HDR in mind. But I’ve been looking to get a good HDR screen myself! Thanks for keeping me informed I’ll take a look at these updates tonight. I’m hoping to completely focus on one mod instead of 2!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

It won’t be needed in the final reshade!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

Thanks for your reply. The DOF still blurs things on the screen even I re-enable it, though activating the settings under Addon does solve it a little but the problem persists. So your Reshade is not compatible with HDR screen? Everything seems very bright, especially in dark areas no matter how much I lower the peak brightness and tone mapping. Do you plan to create one for HDR? I think it'd be even more realistic! Ps. GITS and Nova both have new updates in case you wanna tweak yours!

Hang Tadaa

The OG cars in the game actually look better than many mod cars because how they interact with the shaders. So I can totally respect that. Just write me a message if you need more help!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

Try downloading Weathermancer and experimenting with different weathers. Heavy Clouds is usually the weather people like the most. Sunny weather types look the best when the sun is low, early or late in the day. About the Pagani, I modified the color myself with Wolven Kit. I will release a Tutorial on my Patreon soon on how to do that yourself!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

Beautiful reshade mate! Just a couple of questions...I'm running the highest end rig 4090 with PT and all that jazz and followed your instructions to the T but my game doesn't look as "mute" as yours!? And how did you get the pagani such a crisp orange...my still looks reddish!

Dante Prime

Gotcha. I'll have to do some tinkering in-game. At first my game looked nothing like yours, but increasing the in-game gamma seemed to make it look better. I'm also just modding in the visuals pretty much since idc about adding more cars personally.

Threxi0n

Yeah i thought that was the case, I just was confused because the included guide mentioned doing that step to ensure Nova is loaded after GITS, where I assumed this would make Nova load first

Threxi0n

I understand you can't post the modified GITS, but could you show us the modifications made so we could do it ourselves potentially?

Threxi0n

S'all goods. Following the little guide you included helped me get my game looking pretty damn close to in your vids :D

Zuli'Curah

You can correct the gamma to your preffered taste. Brightness is very dependent on your monitor. If you have sRGB enabled or BT709 you should be fine.

NextGen Dreams (Private)

I wish I could, but I can't. I don't have permission. But the modifications are minimal!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

Appreciate it!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

Thanks for the support!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

If the DOF is not working and you want to use it you can try disabling auto focus and then enabling it again! The colors should be fine with sRGB but they are not tested for HDR.

NextGen Dreams (Private)

See the guide for a working download link on the Nexus!

NextGen Dreams (Private)

also this could be a dumb question but... am I supposed to adjust my in-game gamma after enabling the reshade? I noticed everything is very bright at my default in-game gamma/brightness

Threxi0n

is turning on HDR required for this? your instructions don't mention it at all. I'm hoping not, because otherwise this whole thing is useless to me xD also, I could be wrong about this, but wouldn't adding "!" to Nova cause those to load before GITS? idk if the game engine just operates differently, but in Windows, symbols come before anything else.

Threxi0n

Hiya do you think you could also post your modified GITS?

Zuli'Curah

Hi, could you share the GTIS as well?

David Shih

Hey man, I'm using a HDR monitor and followed the instruction. The color doesn't seem right. The CinematicDOF also causes the whole screen goes blurry unless I tick it off. What's your setting for tone-mapping midpoint and max brightness?

Hang Tadaa

Thanks for posting this!

Xavi94

Thanks for posting this up. Excited to jump in and check it out.
