2/15/18 and Concepts

Just a blog-y post today, I felt like talking about some future concepts I'm planning for both of the games. First, for SQII I have spent a great amount of time, but I have finally secured a planned means of handling spanking scenes. The style will be very similar to before, with a few notable changes. The first of which is that the scenes will take place in "Real time". What I mean by this is that the scenes will no longer be a turn based affair while giving spankings, you can take any action at any time, hypothetically. You could give one spank, bare them, give one more spank, and switch implements. You'll be able to re-clothe the spankee. You'll also be able to take more sensual actions for erotic spankings. As I mentioned in an earlier post, you'll be able to also specify how you speak to the spankee in a more detailed way. Getting spanked will be similar, where even as the spanker is giving a constant stream of spanks, you'll be able to change how you react. Your reactions will be more like a constant state you apply rather than a direct action. So you can set your state as remorseful and sincere for a minute or so, and switch to bratty and indignant for the next minute, and each state will affect the scene for as long as it is active. Now I understand that the thought of having the scene being constant may seem stressful, but know that whenever you open a menu to make an action in either position, time will pause and give you time to think (or whatever else you might do at the time).

Secondly, I wanted to illuminate some more details on my side project. The setting is semi-futuristic, think 10-20 years in the future today, and it takes place in a prison. But honestly, describing it in that way is slightly misleading, because it is really a prison in name only. I'll leave it at that for now.

It's a gradual process, as much as I would like to be able to work on the game constantly, it's still only a hobby compared to my real career. As of right now, I'm organizing the menu system as to what I'll be including in which windows. I'll then have to figure out how to make the menu work, and handle all of the data is manages (items, stats, quests, etc.), after that, I'll be setting up the stats and functionality of the menu so that it actually tracks stats and equipment can be equipped, items can be used, etc. Once that is in the clear, I'll be able to finally start actually integrating the system I described above. It's hard to put a date on these things, but it will likely be a month at the least before the first demo with spanking content is released, with an upper limit of two months.
