Hi everyone, thanks for being patient between content updates. Unfortunately, I have nothing of note to show off right now, since I was unable to be very productive recently due to a strain in my dominant hand. It seems to have focused on the joint on my middle finger closest to my hand, and it gets irritated after complex motions using all of my fingers, i.e. drawing. However, that isn't to say no work has been done in these last few days. Since I couldn't make artwork for the game, and had little to add programming wise without finished artwork, I decided to brainstorm as much I could for the changes to be made ahead.

One of the more significant changes will be how the entire spanking minigame will work from now on. In rpgmaker, I was restricted to having everything be performed in steps, and have a sort of wait period between the actions. But in this new engine, I could make it so that, for example, at any time during the spanking, you can add a smack. Instead of the spanking action being a randomized set of hits played out, the player can just click a smack button as much as they'd like, as fast as they'd like, and as often as they'd like. It would be possible to set a number of smacks, and then click a button and watch them play out. It would also be possible, to set a manual changing of clothes during the scene, with the player physically dragging their cursor to flip up skirts or pull down underwear. This is similar to a short flash game released some time ago, that I suspect a few of you are familiar with. I could set up a rubbing mechanic, where you can soothe their butt but moving your mouse cursor around. 

A little bit less concrete of an example, but I spent a lot of time thinking about the talking mechanics. I came up with an interesting way to balance out the possible responses with the types of character personalities you can encounter. Long story short, as a spankee you may have up to 8 different responses now, intead of the prior 5. This really just takes the options I already had, and divides them down to specify what you end up saying. There will be an argue option, but also a compromise option, confess option, ignore, threaten, and more. The reason the responses are sorted this way, is because they have different effects depending on the personality of the npc in the event. I'll post a more detailed description of that later.

All in all, having this much control over my game now can be intimidating, especially with the extra work going into the game just to recreate what I had from the start with rpgmaker. But the possibilities that this brings to the future is really overwhelming, I'm getting really excited over what this game can become.

I might be able to find an exact link later, but it was the one game that you were able to choose clothing based on a few popular anime characters, and you moved your mouse quickly to spank them, you should be able to find it with a quick google search.

I also like how you show an example of how this engine is more flexible. I just hope it gives you enough organizational ability to check the variables and put scenes together easier like you were talking about when you first made the switch.

Well, you could always look to Godspeaks Demoness in the Tower Battle as to one way to do it. Or his bandit in the forest - which I admit works, but is annoying because you shouldn't run into the bandit so much because literally everytime you face her you have to fight to spank her or lose at least some of your money. So yes as something that happens in a few scenes this might be ok (however you might want to either give an option to turn it on or off in the beginning of the game or scene if you implement this idea) as I don't want to have to fight all my spankees or risk scaring all my spankers by overbratting them and not being super cooperative.

Totally agreed. And as I said, I'm sure for many people it could be a complete turn off. So as I see it it should be as you say, very specific, not a common issue you could face on each "session". To me though it's a cool feature, because appeals to something I like: unruly spankees. On a punishment spanking you can have fully committed spankees, so to speak, and spankees who constantly try to move, cover, run, fight. The same way some people prefer stoic spankees, others prefer very vocal ones. And, on the other hand, some spankees want to feel "forced" to take the spanking instead of just surrendering to the punishment. Although on your world spanking is pretty common and generally speaking everyone agrees on beeing spanked if there is a reason for it (or because you implemented a dominance system) I think it's also reasonable to assume there will be people who may try to fight it. Releated to that is something I LOVED from your previous versions. In the city, if you spanked a kid too hard, then, when you meet her mum she spanks you harder, because you've been unfair. And she doesn't give you a choice. I like that you can choose between many options, when you spank someone in the game, but some of these options lead to future consequences for you too.

That's an interesting idea, and to be honest I had wanted to think of a type of mechanic like that, where it resembled combat in a way. I think that what you describe is a very specific interaction between the player and a certain personality. That being said, the idea of a spanking reversal could work but it would have to be only in certain circumstances in the game, if anything.

It all sounds so good! I love the new interactions you describe. I thought about another one: what about, if you don’t have (or show) enough dominance while spanking a certain type of spankee the situation reverses? That is, the spankee rebels and suddenly you become the spankee and he/she the spanker. That could be reasonable on situations where the spankee is not used to be on submissive situations or has a violent/unruly/challenging personality. I understand though that may not be appealing to some players
