1/11/18 and Decision

Hi folks,
I came to a more solid conclusion on how I'll be proceeding with the game. I will most likely not be working with Unity for the next version of the game. From the documentation I've looked at and the opinions I've heard, Unity is much more code dependent than Construct 2, and learning a new code language is definitely NOT the thing that will make this game come out faster. If there was a scale for complexity of an engine, Scratch would be a 1, rpgmaker would be a 3, Unity would be a 9 or 10, and construct would be a 5 or 6. Construct is still an engine that has a lot of pre-made systems that will be more useful to me, and if I ever expand past those in a future project, I'll use Unity. However, putting all of my eggs in one basket isn't a good idea, so to replace Unity I'll be looking at Gamemaker Studio next. Also a more dedicated 2D engine, and the first engine I ever tried (and made a game from), but that is way in the past.
Anyway, this post is a poll because I wanted to ask of you all, would you rather I spend some time trying to finalize the last rpgmaker update before I switch, or would you rather I put my full focus into the new system and not waste anymore time with it? I personally think I shouldn't put any more work into what won't be the final product, and feel it would just delay me further.
