11/29/17 and Extra characters
Added 2017-11-30 01:03:56 +0000 UTCHi everyone. Seeing as I don't have anything special to talk about now while I work on the game still, I figured I should address a little issue I have been thinking about.
Some of you might remember in the old version of the game, where I had a handful of characters from other games or anime series appear in the various towns that I had completed. There were Finn and Fiona from adventure time in the big treehouse outside of Tungsten, Alibaba, Alladin, and Morgiana from Magi and Shantae from her game in Alumin, and those of you who peeked through the files might have found sprites that had a certain resemblance to Edward Elric and Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist along with Yoko Littner and Nia Tepplin from Gurren Lagann. My plans for the old version of the game was to have a few references to characters in each zone of the game, but after I made the first few, I realized how lacking in content they were because they weren't exactly important to the story. I usually adjusted their personalities and traits so that they were more references in appearance than the actual characters, and they would fit better into the game.
I'm worried how this will translate into the current game version which has all of the extra bell and whistles going on with the spankings. So I figured I would hold a poll to see how you all feel about it.
TL;DR How strongly did you enjoy the cameo characters?
