10/7/17 and Polished Stat Changes

Yo again peeps. I got a another small report to make. So far, I think I have just about everything standardized for the Inn, and once I make sure everything works as intended, I can start replicating the system with each of the other main characters. I also experimented for the first time varying NPC's in the inn. Now, the kinds of patrons you'll see will vary by the day. Most will just have a new thing to say, but others will have special functions like telling you about a special location, triggering an event in another place, selling a unique item that can't be found in a store at town, and more. Standard rpg stuff now in the vein of spanking. While adding this, I came across a little issue with the face images for characters. I have the whole blink and expression system for the major characters, but the starting faces RPGmaker has doesn't really have that kind of depth. Right now I'm planning on keeping non-crucial npc's without facial expressions. I might change this if I find recoloring some of the existing sprites not too tedious, but it's hardly a pressing issue.

The last thing I really have to fix, is how stat changes are handled after a spanking scene. As things are right now, I have it so that some of your stats change depending on how the scene went. If you went to your exhaustion point when giving a punishment, your stamina will go up. If you didn't cry at all during a spanking, your endurance will increase. This leads to several windows popping up after every scene which let you know about these changes. While it's informative, it's also immersion breaking and annoying. I have two ideas on how to handle this. One, make it so all stat changes are laid out in one text box after a scene, which might be too complicated, and two is make it so that the stat changes are silent and not told directly to the player, but I feel that will be too confusing for people not familiar with all of the mechanics. Either way, after that things should go a lot more quickly. I'll probably clean up some of the artwork for the GUI and edit some sprites for the characters, but it will be mainly the re-eventing and testing that will come after this. I can say safely that right now I don't have any plans of more major features to add. The extra features I planned with the Sumaki Stone were really UNnecessary now that I take a step back from it. Although the quest log and achievement systems I still want to include. The achievements will instead give you gold or something rather than the convoluted idea I had before. But a lot of the ideas I had before I still want to use later on, I'll just have to make it more of an environment based thing rather than something built into the game.
