9/6/17 and New Options.

Not much work was done today. On the game at least, we learned about complex numbers today at the campus, but back to what you all care about. I'm doing more work with re-balancing the standard character interactions, as you all know.
A while ago I made a post describing the behavior system for NPC's; how over time they will gain degrees of naughtiness they could be punished for. This system was in place in the last update, although I'm guessing no one was able to experience it. It was probably better that you didn't anyway, since I'm scrapping that too. The whole system of adding stats to an individual NPC over time is not only complicated, but it's also hard to keep track of the values at work, it uses a lot of variables, and most of all it's pretty confusing to anyone not familiar with the system's programming i.e. everyone but me. So in place of this, I have a solution to the punishment aspect of NPC's.
For those of you interested in punishing the posteriors of the plentiful passerbys in the game, rejoice! For you have newfound control and options in the process. In case you didn't know, when punishing an NPC, the scene pulls one of 3 values depending on the persona they use. These values are the minimum soreness you much inflict on them before the scene is considered passed. In the last versions, this severity value changed based on how much naughtiness was built up in the NPC when starting the punishment, on a scale of 1-3. Now, there is just a default "earned a spanking" switch which turns on for an NPC over a certain amount of time. If the switch is on, and you meet the dominance requirement, you can start the spanking at the middle intensity.
However, you can also gamble to make this spanking a severe one (the next step up). This gamble will only pass if you are above a certain dominance (a different value from the one needed to spank in the first place), and will auto fail if it's below that number. Even if your dominance meets the requirement, there is still a chance of failure. Now you might be asking, "why don't I just mash the high severity option until I win?" because if you fail while below the number needed, you will lose the chance to punish them until they earn a spanking again (could take several days) and you take a dominance penalty with them. If you fail while above the number, you just take the penalty and progress with the spanking as a normal value. For those more merciful spankers who are weak to puppy dog eyes, you can also lower the severity one step, free of charge.
*phew* There, this should qualify as some light reading for some of you before bed.
