9/2/17 and Report

Hey again everyone, hope you're all having a lovely morning/day/evening/night depending on your location and time while reading this. I've started taking steps to fix the current version while simultaneously changing things around, and starting by going through all of the common events and making sure the variables make sense and work properly. There are about 200 that I use, but I'm already at 25 after starting this morning, so I'm making good progress. 

I came to the decision of disabling the automatic change of dominance and behavior over time. My reasoning for this is because "time" in the game is progressed when you change rooms, inside to outside a building for example. Each change is meant to count for 15 minutes of change, which is why 1 change equates to 3 points of damage healed. This is a bit of an exploit you can figure out on your own, but this means that you can get the same amount of healing from 1 lotion if you just enter and exit a room 6 times. It sucks, but there isn't really a better way to do it. The reason I got rid of this effect for dominance and behavior, is because both of those are values that are difficult to change for the player at this point in time, so it seems harsh for the values to be reset after walking through a certain number of buildings. The amount of change is also balanced with the assumption that the player knows where to go all the time, and it didn't occur to me that they often have to enter and exit many rooms to figure out what to do next. Perhaps once more ways for the player to change their values comes along I'll reinstate it, but until then it'll stay disabled.
