Yes, the secret is that the Sumaki Stone now has a built in A.I. which will play a role in the journey of the player by sorting through and analyzing data, keeping track of events, storing stats, and much more. Their personality is a little... lacking, and they even seem to be outright broken in some ways! But perhaps that can be fixed.
The Sumaki Stone will be an usable item now instead of just an excuse to have a visual element to the spankings. With it you'll be able to do many things, such as looking at your stats and accessing your quest log I mentioned before.
Aside from this new information, I've been making more and more progress on the game, but the deadline is growing tighter and tighter. With all of the things I still want to do, I'm doubting that I'll be able to get the full finished version that I wanted to get out. However, I'm confident that the game will be in a playable state by the time of the deadline.
