7/5/17 and Stat Changes
Added 2017-07-05 13:46:23 +0000 UTCHi people, back to our regularly scheduled updates, I'm going to talk a little more about the stats that are used in the game.
For a while, I've worked with the assumption that the Stamina and Endurance stats would stay at fixed values throughout the game, but as some of you might have seen, these stats are now able to be changed through different means. The most blatant way of adjusting them is through certain performances during a spanking, where taking more damage increases endurance and spanking for longer increases stamina. I also have plans to give boosts to these stats either temporary or permanently through certain items. Also, previously I had stamina maxed out at 100 points, but now there isn't really a reason for that since those values can be adjusted so easily. The exhaustion meter on the side of the interface when in a scene was also locked to that value, which is why some of you may have experienced your character quitting after being exhausted when the bar wasn't fully filled. Now it is linked to a percentage of your max, and will read properly.
Another change which is a big development in the game, is the removal of the states your character can get. For a long time, since I first started the game the states were used to have other events pick up the damage of the character, and were used as a damage indicator for the player. But now, with the damage stat I used and the custom spanking marks, this has become obsolete. It also makes sense because at the higher levels, the state was "bruised" where now, depending on the implement you've been spanked with, you might not be bruised but still have heavy damage to your rear.
