6/20/17 and Character Options

Currently, as most of you have seen, you have the option to change the MC's appearance through their clothing. You have only been able to remove clothing so far, but there are already options in the game to equip all sorts of different clothing, which I plan to include in the interface during the scenes as well. However, you haven't had any choice in how the character themselves look after all this time. In the new version of the game, I plan to change that.
Now, a character creation system is next to impossible to do, and if I did try to do it, it would take MONTHS of work. So as a solution, I plan on including a number of presets the player can choose from at the start of the game, each with a different hairstyle, color, and clothing choices. Now this still takes a lot of work, and from what I know there isn't a way I can actually do this in game. My solution is to include the files for the face and character sprites with the game download, and you would just replace the standard character files with the ones you want, and voila! I plan on having two additional options when the first full release comes out, and will be polling you all on what kind of features you would want to see before I finish designing them. After the first batch, after each major update I will try to include a new variation. It's not a perfect solution, but I think some people will enjoy the change.

So bad news it that the plug in isn't of much use to me since it seems to only give the custom character one face in a dialogue box when the MC's in my game use 24. The good news is that the creator has loads of other plug ins which seem super cool, I'll definitely give them a look at later too.

The same fellow makes a plugin to allow you to let the player choose from a number of preset characters too. 2017-06-21 18:09:17 +0000 UTCYour link is broken to me, but I have been using an upgraded character creator that someone had designed for a while now. It lets me export the face files right onto the same image and is super handy.

As an aside, and speaking as an utter novice, but i terms of a character generator, I assume Character Creator EX (<a href="http://sumrndm.site/character-creator-ex/)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://sumrndm.site/character-creator-ex/)</a> is not of assistance?
