6/4/17 and Breakthrough
Added 2017-06-04 11:36:45 +0000 UTCHi again everyone. So recently, I've been doing a lot of thinking with the whole persona system and how it would work in the future. When I first designed the persona system, I intended it to be a tool I could use to manage the different behaviors and approaches the various characters in the world would have. However, aside from the general personas that I came up with a while ago, I have had trouble thinking of ways to set up new personas in a convenient way. For example, if I have an athlete persona, will they really react to a spanking in a different way than a miner, or manual laborer? Will a librarian really react in that different of a way to a shy schoolgirl? What got me thinking about this in particular, is that recently I made a sort of planning sheet of all of the variations of lines and text a persona will give in a spanking scene, and the total turned out to be about 1250. And that is only for the scenes where you spank them. To use this system on every "type" of character would be horribly time consuming, and I know how much you all wouldn't like that. For a long time last night, i was brainstorming a way to still capture the variety of the persona system with less work, and I finally had a breakthrough. Instead of having a reaction for a particular type of person, I can have a certain "mood" of reactions. Shy, Tough, Silly, Submissive, Dominant, etc. These are all broad categories that can be applied in one way or another to each possible persona in the game. While that list may not be the exact format I'll be working with, you can expect something similar. An additional thing of note, is I realized how much of a difference age can factor into these traits, so I will give each "age range" one of each trait. The ages will be the same as I have them now, child, teen, adult. I will also put a variation on gender for each one too. While I want the amount of moods represented to be as few as possible, I also want to still be able to represent every type of character in the game. So I will be working on a formal list for now.
