5/7/17 and Refreshing
Added 2017-05-07 22:55:48 +0000 UTCWith the finishing of the clothing changing system, I pretty much finished all of the background code for the new game systems! Hooray!
Now I can get to work on all of the other bullshit in the game, like the tutorial. Speaking of the tutorial, it's one of the most detailed event's I've done to date. I'm only about a fourth of the way through at the moment, but it's shaping up well. What this does, exactly, is it changes the beginning of the game into mostly a cutscene for the first few minutes. It's only about a fifth of the length of the one I used for RTT though, so nothing big. The tutorial will give both the player and the player's character their first introduction to spanking in the Minrol region (Yes, that is a retconn, the region is now named after the mountain range). It also gives reason for the new interface being used. It also introduces two new characters.
One issue it that to start on the tutorial I had to sacrifice some of the randomness and detail with the interface, stuff I can do at a later point. I might put out a patron only demo after the tutorial scene is done, just to show off the new interface. After that I will work a bit longer on the Inn, and once it's at it's complete state I'll make the next demo public.

Yep, as long as you don't save scum, seeing every possible scene will take at least 3 runs or possibly more.

One example would be how I'm adding a new character which will be have their own part in Tungsten's story. Most story parts will be the same, but I plan on some bigger changes in Iron City in particular. Such as how before it was inevitable that you got punished, I want to make it possible to play the entire game both never got spanked, or never spanked anyone else.
