5/3/17 and Respite
Added 2017-05-04 03:29:30 +0000 UTCSo I got's about 1 week of downtime from school, so hopefully I can get some major work in the game coming up. I've just finished making the base parts for the interface and now I have to set up the placement in the actual game. This means I set up where the pictures appear down to the pixel, load the game, run the gui event, see where they line up and then go back and adjust until I get it right. It usually takes about 5-7 tries before it's golden, but afterward I just set every other variation of the picture to the same location and it's already settled. After THAT I'm going to set up some of the persona-gab-index thingys I mentioned before, and match those up with the events. AFTER THAT I'm going to look into streamlining the player-spanked scenes like I have with the player-spanking scenes and see how they turn out. AFTER THAAAAAT I'm going to add the tutorial character and intro scene which will be shown in the actual game when it's finished and probably put out the next demo at that point. I'm not going to bother mentioning when that would be, cause I doubt I'll make the deadline.

These demos are all for the purpose of showing off the new systems and how well they work. While the next one will still only consist of the Inn, I'm going to aim for the whole building to be in it's finished state as it would be in the full game. What goes afterward will be quicker, but by no means just copy and pasting scenes over. There is a lot of other things I want to work on.

2017-05-04 07:39:53 +0000 UTCSeems like you could finish it in a week if you sit down and kick it out along with get lucky with a couple of these and finish them in a couple hours (dunno coding and the work, but from my plebeian knowledge seems like it could be possible). Realistically-speaking, probably 2-3 weeks assuming real life cooperates, which usually doesn't happen. Question though, will the demo be something similar to the last one? Just the two spankings and once those are all set and working then just copy pasta everything to the rest of the game?
