Hey errywahn. It's been a while since I posted an update. To be honest nothing much has changed with the game. I've been busy with school since my last post, and have an exam in about 8 hours that I've been studying for. Even after that, I have another exam I'll need to put in work for a week after. The good news is that once I finish this last revamp of the interface, I'll be able to start work on the game proper again.

A bit of new game news is that I've experimented with the way "gabs" work in the scenes, where the players will give out random lines in that special text window. How that works is that at certain points in a scene, the game pulls a line of text from a random list and then associates that line with a character portrait depending on the scene. However, even if I have like 20 lines, the variety will get pretty low when I apply it to 50+ characters. You'd end up hearing the same line over and over again. A fix I came up for this, is that I give every character a "persona class". What this means is that depending on the characters personality, they'll draw from a different list of lines they'll say randomly. So far I have plans for normal people of different ages and sexes, then for more special characters I have sadist and masochist lists, and for special occupations I have ones for caregivers, doctors, laborers, holymen/women, and possibly more. This way I can give even more variety to the scenes with much less work. And if I want to add more possible options to a type of character, I just edit the one list it pulls them from and it changes is for each character with that persona! Only one of these lists are finished, but so far it's working as expected.
