Before I continue with the update, I'd just like to apologize for the extended break. But not to worry, the chapter is coming very soon, tomorrow most likely. This is not one of those kinds of updates, so y'all can put your pitchforks down :D
I'm just here to say sorry for taking a little longer than expected to be back. I severely underestimated just how much stress the incoming release would put me under. To be honest, I've spent my breaktime just trying not to think about 1% Lifesteal as much as humanly possible. Made it kinda hard to plot and write 💀
Thankfully, the preorder is doing good. That doesn't really guarantee anything, but it at least gives me a base of confidence that it won't go too poorly. Unfortunately, this still doesn't exclude the possiblity of a number of horrible things happening, such as what happened the other day.
Cultist of Cerebon released this Tuesday, and a day after, the ABSR system had some issues, causing the ranks to be unable to update and effectively gutting the momentum of the release. This is but one of many things that could go wrong and ruin a release.
That being said, I'd like to take a moment to urge you to go support Cultist of Cerebon's release on Kindle.
As someone who already had a very horrible experience with a similar thing happening on my previous release, I really hate seeing it happen to others, and I've personally picked up a copy to support it. It is an amazing story at any rate, and I highly recommend it regardless of this ABSR fiasco.
That would be about it. I don't think I'll be able to properly relax until the release is done and over with, but until then, I will focus on book 4 and just try to destress as much as humanly possible.

I found your book my recommendation on RR. So I got Amazon subscription just to read it and was throughly surprised and binge read books 2 and 3 within a week. When I heard you were taking a break to help with your child I thought it was a great time to be a patron on Patreon!

It has a specific overarching category for all of Kindle and a separate one for all of Audible, and then a bunch of smaller ones for both. This ranking is what gives people tags like "#1 New Release" or "Best Seller in x categories"/"Best seller in X" If these ranks freeze, it's bad. Really bad. Imagine guiness world records comes to your house to record you doing like a thousand pushups and the camera breaks for a couple of hours.
