well, i totally agree. And have an addition : There are Federal Laws in every co0untry, in which this problms are already inherited in. It's not "the communities" job to fulfill government agencies work. yes, we can and will support them. But in the end, the agencies have to get in a position by using "policework" to hunt down culprits, who do harmful deepfakes and spread them. Possible ? Yes. how ? by building up the skills of the police. And to WANT them to do their job. I am in on iT for 35 years now, and somehow i got a feeling, that there is no real effort in trying to build up structured police force and skill to hunt down illegal activities online...no matter of which topic.
