Hi S.I. and thank you for that feedback. I totally understand and it's really good to know that. My main focus are enthusiastic hobbiest of a beginner level that want to create very nice art, without needing to spend hours learning overly complex techniques. Right now i'm trying to figure out a better understanding of who my customers are, what they need and what their price point is. Not to ask for more, but to create a product and price that is better in tune with my customers needs. At the same time i'm a a limit right now where I need a team that helps me. For that I need to reach out beyond my community to sell products to a larger customer group, to have the money to pay a team. so, basically the question; why and how would people who have never heared of me buy my products. The aim is to empower and inspire as many people as possible. A Bob Ross of Photography in a certain way - minus the hairdo. Maybe I can get a beard like that ;)

Personally I really appreciate the quality and variety of your online tutorials and packages, and I am happy to provide support via Patreon to help you continue doing such a great service to all of us. Your tutorials are insightful and presented in a very understandable, well paced manner. That said, I am not a photographer, nor do I aspire to becoming one—I use Affinity Photo in a limited way to manipulate photos for use in various personal applications, so I have a very limited need for advanced or specialized courses, or for elaborate asset packages, etc. For some of us the purchase price is not the main reason that we don’t sign up for a paid course; however, expanding your audience beyond your current followers would hopefully reach more people who are passionate about photography and who would benefit from purchasing your online courses.

don't worry, all feedback is highly appreciated. I usually do a teaser video about my online courses and creative packs that I try to keep short, so people watch it. But I haven't yet used that video for any paid online ads. That's also something I'm researching right now

Have you thought of doing a Youtube video about your online courses? Don't mean to be annoying, but something that advertises to the Youtube viewers that the courses are out there?

Hi Sandra, yes, these are all good points. At the moment I'm doing a lot of research into finding the right price, learn what customers expect, but also how to expend my reach to customers outside my community. Right now I only promote my products to my community and only in that one video when I lauch the product (sometimes I mention it later in another video or live stream). It give myself a good income, BUT it is not enough to grow my business and build a team. But building a team would be the vital next step, becaue there are so many things I can do and want to provide that I simple can't handle on my own. I'm right now at a milestone where figuring out the next growing steps is both vital and difficult, because they require different skillsets - mainly sales and team building. To behonest, this survey is something I just learned about in a online course and wanted to try out. So far, the results are pretty insightful. :)

Olivio, this is a very good subject for discussion. There is a fine line between good pricing and over pricing. Honestly $75 is a bit too much as many others charge less for online classes. BUT, that being said, you need to make a living so what is the best pricing? Do your classes sell when you offer the first 100 buyers a discount? Are your classes only advertised via your Youtube Videos so only your followers know about them? Maybe the issue is not pricing but exposure to a larger customer base? There is a lot of competition, but you have experience and are an excellent teacher so this message needs to get to a larger customer base than just those of us who follow you. Have you thought of offering your courses via Serif or other sites that sell Affinity resources? I purchase brushes and assets from several sites besides Serif itself, Design Cuts is another I use often - just an idea that perhaps more exposure would boost sales.
