You are welcome. Yes, do that. Spend some time experimenting with it, because not everything is obvious right away and also have a look at Viveza (one of the Plugins of Nik Collection) because it is really really powerful. Have a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jB7rx_2Jf70

Thank you Olivio! I really appreciate your feedback! Your analogy of the suitcases and backpack help me really understand. I am going to have to look into NIK Collection. :)

HI Joseph, Nik Collection cosists of these 9 plugins. My Tutorial Series is on all the Filters inside of Color Efex Pro 4 - which is one of these Plugins.
Regaring your question: Think about that way: You can carry your Clothing in a Suitecase or in a Backpack. So why own both? Because a Suitcase is impracitcal in uneven Terrain and a Suitecase with wheels is easier on even ground. Both bring your clothing from A to B, but they do it in different way.
Nik Collection has beautifully design filters that are specifically and masterly made to help you create certain styles, looks and effects.
Do you know what a Agfa Optima 400 Analog Film Look looks like if applied to a ditigal image? Probably no. But Nik Collection does, bencause it's build into the Filter amongst many other Brand Analog FIlms.
Do you know how the Black and White photography styles from different decades of Black and White photograhy look like and how to replicate them? Again, probably not, but the Nik Collection has filiters that are crafted in these Styles and can be adjustend very precisely to your images.
That's why there are Plugin - because they give you new, artistic approches to you images and to photo editing in general. It's awalys good to have a choice and learn from the masters who create these tools

HI Olivio, I am a little confused. I was watching your tutorial on pro Contrast and I noticed you have 9 plugins for Affinity Photo. I am sure they all specialize in something as you show in this tutorial Color Efex Pro. But it makes me wonder do you need all these plugins to make an image look acceptable? What happened to Affinity Photo? Is not good enough to edit images or do you need these plugins to make up for what Affinity Photo lacks. I do understand you use Affinity Photo to make some great looking composites, but what about just editing a simple picture?
