Thank you. I was thinking about including key words, but I figured they are not really part of Culling. Also I stopped using key words, because it's just too much work. Also google photos has smart content recognition, so you can simply search for things and it will find them without key word. Of course that's only good for general terms like cat or cloud.

In addition I add keywords (using the Mac Finder) to each file before I move them from my temporary space into their final place. These ones get backed up into the cloud. I find the key words allow me to show only those photos I am interested in, say a bridge or church. It does take a bit more time but I find it worthwhile for the type of photo shooting I do.
