I guess when I wrote specialised packages, I really meant to say software (my bad π) I must say I am super impressed with C1. I absolutely LOVE it! . There is so much you can achieve with C1. The RAW conversion is probably the best around for Fuji shooters. You can do so much very quickly in developing an image. But as I mentioned when I want to develop further or do compositing I move on to Affinity. I also want to thank you for the help and inspiration that you have given me in your tutorials. π

If its a portrait I use retouch4me software. If I want to create a lut 3dlutcreator and finally into affinity Photo

2021-08-23 18:40:46 +0000 UTCAs a Fuji shooter I find that Capture One delivers excellent RAW conversions. I use it as a starting point for all of my photos. With its library I can select the photos I wish to take further and I normally do some basic adjustments and development in C1. I then move images as that I wish to improve further, or do compositing etc. into Affinity - which I love working with! I also use the TOPAZ utility suite for improvement of some imaged - noise reduction, sharpening or upscaling. I have found that using several specialised packages (even though it is time consuming) delivers the best results.
