HI Stephan, sorry for the late answer. I had so much work, but I really wanted to answer earlier. I have made a Video on Youtube Thumbnail designs here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPzsjy0uAhs I would suggest you keep your thumbnails as simple as possible, because you need to create a lot of them, but also because they need to be very clear in their purpose to the viewer, while they compete with a lot of other thumbnails at the same time. For inspiration it is best if you look at channels that cover a similar topic as yours and see what they have done - especially the videos and channels that got the most views. But don't copy them exactly. The idea about solving viewer problems sounds great. How ever often people come with problems that are not in line with the subject of my channel. For example I get often asked about shirt designs and product design - two things i don't do and never addressed on my channel. So that might be a problem. But I will keep it in mind and we could give that a try in one of the next streams as a weekly challenge thing :) Thank you. By the way, have a look at Canva.com - it has thousands of finished designs that you can edit right on their page. Maybe that will give you a good starting point

2021-08-11 16:43:17 +0000 UTCCan you send me on of the tutorial links please, because i'm a bit uncertain what you mean by "textures and crop shapes"

2021-08-11 16:18:15 +0000 UTCGreat job so far, Olivio. May I suggest spending a bit of time on the use of textures and crop shapes in Affinity Photo. There are some lessons available online that are specifically made for Photoshop, but they do not always apply well to Affinity Photo. I'm interested in using them to more artistically enhance my photos. Thanks in advance, Bill.

2021-08-11 14:57:56 +0000 UTCMore the reason to show the use of your packs and LUTs. I assume the majority of viewers you have are not professional photographers or editors. I know I am not, and that is why I like to watch your channel because I am always learning something. Therefore, since you are not a professional photographer like the majority of us, but a professional image designer/editor is where I feel your viewers would benefit from watching you edit an image from a nonprofessional photographer, from beginning to end!

2021-08-07 13:47:19 +0000 UTCHi Joseph, thank you. Yes I remember that and that's actually a really important change I need to make. I will include my own packs increasingly in future tutorials and stream as well as use more own photo. To be honest, I'm more of a editor rather than photographer, but I think my skills are not bad with the camera and I will try to learn as much as possible :)

2021-08-07 10:18:21 +0000 UTCHi Olivio, I echo Kevin's sentiments as well. However, I will dabble in some compositions and have used your LUTs and super packs as they do give pizazz to my photos. As I suggested to you during one of your live videos, I would like to see you use your super packs and LUTs you have created in photos you have personally taken. I think this will also help us better to understand how and when to use them.

2021-08-06 07:51:58 +0000 UTCHi Kevin, thank you very much for the long time support. actually my Channel is switching a lot between photo editing, composite creating, text effects and design advice. All of that is a bit "all over the place" and I realized that I attract people from all kinds of backgrounds, then go into topics they are not specifically interested in. So I feel like my channel could use some more focus. Right now i am pondering between a channel concept where i do my own photoshoots and edit them (including tutorials about photo shoots and editing raw and such) and doing more art work like composites, where I mainly work with files from the web and create tutorials around the artistic process and all the tricks to make good and interesting works. The idea to create the videos about creativity and art again for my patrons is great. I was considering this. However back in the day very few people actually watched them. So it was a bit disappointing for me to invest all that time and then maybe 10 people watched it. But i really want to add more value to my Patreon Page, so I will think about it and come up with some ideas that i put to the vote within the next weeks :)

2021-08-05 19:19:13 +0000 UTCHi Francesca, the Portal Video was intended more as a Time Lapse, rather than a tutorial. The main aim of the video was to announce the Super Challenge :) But you are right, i could have included some voice over for the Time Lapse

2021-08-05 19:13:26 +0000 UTCI can echo Kevin's words but also I found your verbal explanations better than the silent very quick portal video. I struggled to follow that.

2021-08-05 17:01:23 +0000 UTCHello Olivio, As you know I am a long term Patreon supporter of your channel. Due to several reasons I haven't been active on your live streams for some time. This is also partly due to the fact that much of the channel is now focussed on creating composite images, which is not something that is at the top of my priority list. Indeed, although your LUT's and effect packages are superb, they are not necessarily what I am after, I'm ok with modifying an image to make it look more punchy etc but I don't go as far as adding elements to create a fantasy image etc - I just don't have the imagination! In the past you used to create video's about art and how to interpet what the artist is attempting to portray. You have also recommended books in the past too. There was also a series on creativity too. I wonder if you would consider bringing these back for Patreons. I know that the YouTube audience likes the composite angle and it is a good vehicle for you to engage with your audience. I wonder therefore if there is a gap for a different angle for Patreons. I hope that helps! Best wishes, Kevin
