I was planning on having a minute long poorly made powerpoint video that felt like it was from the 2000s showing off smol kobold garden but I didn't finish what I wanted for it in time. I didn't get sleep to try and get more done but it didn't pan out so in the end I decided to just release a few pictures on twitter. Biggest issue I had was the dragging of objects. I kinda got tunnel vision and spent too long in wanting to finish it. I wanted spring like physics when you pick up an item and drag them around purely with maths instead of using an actual physics system as the object can get wonky when using a mouse, speeding up too fast or going through the environment easily. I'm really happy with how it came out it came out and it shouldn't have phones explode too.
There will also be 3 minigames on release, kobold loot, gun, and maths. These games are based on deceptive mobile game ads that usually show gameplay that's not present in the actual game itself. Kobold loot is a puzzle game where you pull various pins in order to try and get the loot in the room. In kobold gun you have a kobold aim a gun in which a bullet ricochets around the room with the goal of hitting a target. Kobold maths is a runner type game where you control a running kobold going through gates. The gates have increasingly harder math problems that will either spawn more bolds for your bold army or take them away. I mostly finished gun but only got halfwayish with loot and havent been able to get to maths yet.
